John,
Good tip about Shure in-ear headphones. They take up less space in the laptop bag too.

Another online survey tool is www.zoomerang.com. Why do you prefer www.surveymonkey.com?

Mac, my list is exactly the same with one exception - I still have my Bose QC headphones but I switched to some Shure in-ear headphones. You can use a disposable foam collar so they don't get gross (and your ears won't sweat like in the Bose), they take no batteries (key, as the Bose are useless when the battery dies), they reduce more outside noise without actually changing the sound, and the case is less than a quarter the size of the Bose (big for travellers).

But the Bose do sound great, and either of these do make you actually feel better after long flights.

I'd add SAAS survey tools such as www.surveymonkey.com to the list too.

Happy New Year!
